A message from the owners Lesley & Neil Pollington
Welcome to 2016 at The Secret Garden Touring Park
Now well in to our season, the main summer holiday weeks are just around the corner.
Despite a wet start to this season the ground has held up very well and the
Park has looked glorious in spring colour. Our Tipi glamping experience is now complete and is proving very popular.
Lesley and I are so pleased our park is enjoyed by so many, it is great to see visitors
return and this realy give us a buzz and inspires us to find ways to make it even
better. Hence we look forward to the new devlopments we are planning over the next
year but will keep these a secret for the moment -
Whist enjoying your camping experience at “The Secret Garden Touring Park”
it is worth noting that we are well placed for exploring the wider area of Fenland.
Steeped in history, folklore and traditions Fenland is in itself a voyage of discovery.

ABOUT THE SECRET GARDEN
We are a relaxed, 11 acre, site of low occupation (just 35 pitches) focusing on the study and enjoyment of wildlife, and a real camping experience in the heart of the Fens.
The site is designed around 2 features. The Garden & Meadow plots 1-
electric hook up providing a 16 amp power supply & water to each pitch.
There are also 5 non serviced camping plots on the far side of the meadow, and our camping Pod (Skypod).
Adjacent we have “ Fen Park” incorporating a further 10 fully serviced pitches and 10 Glamping Pitches for development over 2016 Fen park has its own extensive landscaped play and exploring space, with the Maze, two picnic areas and the adventure / play field.
By providing a low occupation facility, we aim to offer a genuine “back to nature” camping experience with top quality amenities where you can relax and enjoy your own space and have the freedom to explore all we offer on site.
On site we have a small herd of Gloucester Old Spot pigs from Bramblebee Farms, chickens and a diverse range of bird and mammal wildlife, including green & greater spotted woodpeckers, jays, barn owls, finches, hedgehogs, stoats, moles, hares, muntjac deer, foxes, voles and rabbits. Seasonal insects are also widespread on site, attracted by the nectar rich planting throughout the site, and the ongoing careful management of the meadow.
Other areas to enjoy are The mushroom picnic area, the meadow, the maze, Hobbit hill, and the living green room, a willow play structure created by Livingwillow.
The award winning ales from our on site brewery “Mile Tree Brewery” are available from the site shop, along with our famous Bramblebee Gloucester Old Spot sausages, local cider, jams and preserves. The site allotment produces seasonal fruit and veg for the shop and we offer recipe ideas for fire pit cooking.
Our Bushcraft workshop area is operated by Fenland Bushcraft . Please see our Bushcraft page for more information of workshops and courses we are running in 2016.
